(July 17, 2015) - A group of Parishioners toured Charlestown, Mass., and visited the Bunker Hill Monument,
two Charlestown churches (St. Francis de Sales and St. Mary's), and the Charlestown Navy Yard

50th Anniversary Mass and Reception Celebrating Catholic Education at OLCA/OLA
Fr. Ramon Garcia Celebrates Mass at Our Lady's and We Celebrate Him!
Fr. Ramon Garcia, who was ordained in early May, celebrated all the Masses on the weekend
of May 23-24, 2015 at Our Lady's Parish and we held a reception for him after the 11 o'clock Mass. Fr. Ramon has
been helping out over the past year as he finished up his studies at the seminary. Now that he is ordained, he will
be assigned to a parish in his home diocese, the Archdiocese of Hartford.


First Communion 2015
(May 3, 2015) - Fifty-one children received First Communion and processed outside
 to the Blessed Mother statue for the Crowning of Mary on a beautiful Sunday.


Confirmation 2015
(May 2, 2015) - Thirty-one 10th graders made their Confirmation with Rev. Brian Kiely,
the Episcopal Vicar of the West Region. Congratulations!

Koinonia Academy
On April 20, 2015, here in Our Lady’s Church we were joined by the Koinonia Academy Choir from Plainfield, NJ. This Catholic high school choir sang sacred and uplifting hymns, skits, prayer and one on one time with those from our congregation. It was an extraordinary evening of impressive youth. They will be traveling again in 2017 and are invited back to Our Lady’s. Check out more photos of this year's tour on their Koinonia Academy Concert Choir Facebook page.

Our Lady's 2nd Grader Baptized on April 26
Kaito Paul Dunn, a second grader from Our Lady’s Academy, was baptized and received into the Catholic Church on April 26 at Our Lady’s. Kaito is among several Our Lady’s Academy students who have sought on their own to become Catholic. 

Our Lady's Academy 2nd Grader Baptized
(March 20, 2015) - Surrounded by his 2nd grade classmates and teachers, Cashmere Moore was baptized by Fr. DiPerri and received into the Catholic Church. During the past few years, several students from Our Lady's Academy have chosen to be baptized or have entered the Catholic Church. We are grateful to all our students of all faiths, we always recognize that the founding mission of our school is to promote the Gospel of Christ and His Church.  Congratulations, Cashmere, and God bless you!

Eucharistic Adoration in the Newly Renovated St. Joseph Chapel 
(April 2, 2015) - More than 450 people gathered in prayer at Holy Thursday Mass in Our Lady's Church and most participated in the Eucharistic Procession from the church to the school chapel after Mass. The St. Joseph Chapel is in the process of being repainted and significantly upgraded. With the completion of the new school addition and main entranceway, the Eucharistic chapel will be the central focus of the school.

Ham-A-Rama 2015
(March 28, 2015) - Our Lady's held its annual Ham-a-Rama fundraiser on Saturday night, March 28. 

 Knights of Columbus Pasta Dinner - March 21, 2015
The Knights of Columbus Council hosted another wonderful Pasta Dinner for all parishioners on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Paul Loscocco was named Knight of the Year and he took time out from cooking and serving to accept this award. The food was delicious as always, the Knights raised money for their Coats for Kids campaign, and a fun time was had by all when Mel Simons, from WBZ radio, entertained with sing-along-songs, trivia, and jokes on the theme "Everything's Coming Up Irish!" We ended the evening by joining hands and singing "God Bless America!"

Feb. 28, 2015 -- Our Indian and Sri Lankan parish families got together for
a potluck dinner at the rectory with Fr. DiPerri, Fr. English, and Deacon Ramon Garcia.



Mittens for Children: December 2014
Our Religious Education students recently collected dozens and dozens of mittens and hats for children in need in Waltham; they donated these items to the Bristol Lodge, the Salvation Army, and a local family shelter.
Shown here are also some of the 8th grade Religious Ed students and their 34 pairs of mittens!< Many thanks to all of the students, families, and teachers who participated in this service project.

Aug. 8, 2014: Trolley Tour of Boston

A great time was had by all who came on the Trolley Tour of Boston on Friday, Aug. 8. We visited South Boston and Gate of Heaven Church, celebrated Mass at St. Augustine Cemetery Chapel, had lunch at L’Osteria in the North End, visited St. Leonard Church, and ended our day with dessert at Café Vittoria. May 25, 2014: Memorial Day Mass with Veterans
Fr. DiPerri celebrated the 11 am Mass on Sunday, May 25, in honor of our military.
We were joined by 30+ veterans of WWII, Korea, Vietnam through to the present.



Cantor Justin Wylie Promoted to Captain in USAF
May 22, 2014 (Lexington, Ma.) -- In a ceremony this morning on Lexington Green, Our Lady's choir member and cantor Justin Wylie was promoted to the rank of Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Justin was joined by his wife Jessica and his parents Keith and Lee Wylie. Congratulations, Justin!

 Memorial Day Remembrance on Waltham Common

  Fr. DiPerri, Fr. English, and Seminarian Patrick Fiorillo joined with Mayor Jeanette McCarthy and parishioners and veterans from around Waltham for a Memorial Day ceremony on Waltham Common.
