The Knights of Columbus #14710 Our Lady’s will be holding their semi-annual fundraiser at the Chateau Restaurant in Waltham 195 School St., to benefit our “Coats for Kids” program.
On that day, the Knights will receive 20% of all monies spent in the restaurant as well as pick up orders as long as you mention Knights of Columbus for all hours the restaurant is open. Home delivery is NOT accepted.
We will also accept private donations made out to Knights of Columbus #14710 and sent to Our Lady's Parish Office at 920R Trapelo Rd. Waltham, 02452.
As in past years, all proceeds will be used to purchase new, high-quality boys and girls winter coats for families in need. Coats will be distributed to St. Vincent de Paul organizations as well as individuals in need.
Due to the Knights’ national organization purchasing power, we are able to purchase new coats for approximately $22.00 per new coat.
Having any adults use Facebook or other social media has been an effective way of promoting to a larger audience.
