Activities Committee

We are a "fun" group of parishioners gathering to organize activities and events that bring the Parish Community together.

• We do parish-wide activities, such as Family Pasta Dinner night and hosting Veteran's reception
• We do spiritual activities such as during season of Lent we host Soup and Stations
• We do social activities outside of church such as trips to New York or Castle Island, attending movies and plays

The focus is getting people together. We welcome any new attendees and ideas. We meet monthly and if you are unavailable, we can add you to the email list of upcoming activities.

Bristol Lodge's Soup Kitchen

Information and sign up meeting on Saturday, Jan. 3rd

One of Our Lady's outreach ministries is preparing a meal for Bristol Lodge's Soup Kitchen on the first Tuesday of every other month (Feb, April, June, Aug., Oct and Dec.). We prepare the meals to feed some that are in need of a hot meal. The soup kitchen is located here in Waltham.

We are having an information and sign up meeting on Saturday, Jan. 3rd at 9 AM in the School meeting room. Members of our parish prepare these meals six times a year. Please come meet some of our current volunteers as they sign up and learn more about this ministry.

If you have volunteered with us in the past please reach out to Sue if you can not make the meeting and give her your availability.

Community Day Center

Through the generosity of parish members, were were able to assemble 50 hygiene bags for individuals who use the Community Day Center here in Waltham. In addition, we donated much-needed supplies to support their ongoing work. The community Day Center http://www.commnitydaycenter.org provides daytime shelter and essential support services for people experiencing homelessness in our community.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support of this meaningful project.

Outreach

Thank you to Lori and Paul Mazzarelli who served as team captain's this month's Bristol Lodge soup kitchen Six times a year member of our Parish prepare and serve a meal for 60-80 neighbors in need who utilize the Bristol Lodge for their evening meal.

Bristol Lodge

Soup Kitchen: Meets every other month and we would greatly appreciate anyone looking to help out in the community effort to assist people who are hungry and in need of a meal.

Greater Boston Food Bank

Sue Casey, Activities Committee was able to get Our Lady's a time to volunteer at the Greater Boston Food Bank this year. The date is Saturday September 12, 2026. Start time is 9:00am - noon.
